In order to go far.

I feel greatly privileged to brief an account of the works and achievements of the School in Academics, Sports and Co-Curricular activities in 2022-23.

 I must start with the Academic result of 2021-22 when School got 100% results in Std-X & XII Commerce & 93% in XII Science. This result is worth mentioning as the two difficult years of pandemic had put bars against every flow, regularity and activity. Crossing over the difficulties of online & offline studies, we secured good results. Moreover, School does all CBSE projects like Veer Gatha on all levels, Art & Integration Projects, Pariksha Pe Charcha & many more as per the instructions of CBSE or Central Government. Any expectation by CBSE/ Gujarat Government/ Central Government has always been fulfilled by School duly.

“We believe in Arise Awake and Stop Not, Till the Goal is Achieved” which is an advice of Swami Vivekanand to each one of us.

NEP – 2020 focuses on the kinesthetic development of the students and school is the means for it. School provides all opportunities to students for their all-round growth and improvement. Like every year we conducted various Co-Curricular activities like: Memory Game, Shloka Recitation, Poetry Recitation, Hindi & English Elocution, Extempore, Song, Banner Making, Garba Competition and Art & Craft activities.

Competition with limited area is one good thing but competing outside with other schools of the district means a lot. School inspires the students to participate in interschool competitions to understand their real potentials, which is evident from the fact that many students brought laurels to the school this year.

Co-Curricular Achievements

Likewise, our school has always added more feathers in its cap in sports. This year our sports achievers are:

Hockey Achievements

School believes in External Examinations to enhance and assess the knowledge of students. So, our students participated in various Olympiads like:

(i) All India Swachh Bharat Art Competition where 78 students participated & 8 secured gold medals.

(ii) Humming Bird 246 students took part & 25 students were awarded medals of which 22 students appeared for Level - II exam whose result is awaited.

(iii) In Science Olympiad Foundation, 44 students participated and 5 students were awarded with gold medals while one student had been selected for the prestigious Level-II Exam.

(iv) In Hindi Olympiad organized by Mahatma Gandhi Rajbhasha Hindi Prachar Sanstha, Pune, 74 students participated & all received Gold Medals.

(v) It’s a matter of pride to mention that Julie Ghosh (9^th) received “Hindi Gaurav Ratna Puruskar”. Thus, you can see how we groom our students and prepare them for the real world.

Our students of 10^th-12^th participated in the Orientation program of the “Cultural Fest” organised by IIMUN in collaboration with Parul University to help the students to develop their inter-personal and inter-disciplinary skills.

Like every year, a good number of students and parents from 9^th to 12^th participated in the national campaign; “Pariksha Pe Charcha”, took part in Quiz competition and attended the interactive session screened by the Central Government, organised by PMO addressed by the honorable Prime Minister; Shri. Narendrabhai Modi.

A counselling session in school premises organized by the faculties of Parul University on the topic of “Stress Management” guided our students of grade IX & XI how to challenge their abilities against all odds.

 We always believe in making the students aware with Indian culture so, like every year, we celebrated Eid, Navratri, Christmas, Diwali, Holi, Janmasthami, Rakshabandhan, Guru Nanak Jayanti & all National Days with full zeal & enthusiasm.

We feel pleasure to mention that from the Academic Session 2023-24, school has been digital in teaching and learning modes. All classrooms have been “Smart” equipped with TV and Tabs. The teaching and learning have been kinesthetic making the students capable to pace with the changing world. In collaboration with LEAD, school is treading on the moto “I do, We do, You Do”. We are confident that with the multi-disciplinary teaching, the learning would be faster and the knowledge would be retentive.

The expression can’t be brought to the closure until we express our heartfelt thanks to the parents and tiny tots of KG section who enthusiastically participated in all the activities, competitions and celebrations throughout the year, conducted by the teachers. Their spirit and zeal painted the canvas of the school with colorful memories. We expect the same co-operation and co-ordination in the coming years too.

         At last, with a hope for the best in the forthcoming session, with the co-operation of all stakeholder’s, I would like to finish my expression with these words:
